Today I volunteered at the Foundling Museum for the Victorian Christmas party for children. We dressed them up, painted their faces, made optical toys, peg dolls, and sugar mice. There was also a reading by the author from his book about Charles Dickens inventing Christmas. Then I decided to cook and bake, so I spent hours in the kitchen cooking chicken tetrazzini and chocolate chip cookies for Chris and myself. Both were really good, much to my surprise! Good Name Twin time was had! Then we watched Saving Grace before Chris and I chatted in the kitchen for over an hour before heading to bed around 2.
